It seems that’s where my life is these days. I rarely blog and when I do it’s mostly on Blogger. I have a few friends that blog there that I’ve known as online friends for years. I usually check in and read their blogs, but I rarely update my own blog.
WordPress has changed a lot since I’ve last been here. I’m sort of lost but will figure this out. I also have a couple of online friends that blog here and will try and check in on them here too.
Life for me has slowed to a crawl now. We now have three grandchildren, our daughter has two sons and our son has one daughter. They keep us busy, especially our daughter’s children who we often babysit.
In mid-March we will go with them, our daughter, son-in-law and their children, to Disneyland. It should be a fun trip seeing the excitement on the boy’s faces as we tour the parks. The oldest grandson is now three and he’s the most excited about us going to Disneyland with them. The younger grandson, Konrad, is about 9 months so still pretty much a baby but it will be fun to be with all of them since we won’t be babysitting this time, just having fun.
Our son, Brian, has the baby daughter. It will be fun to see them soon as we get together for Brian’s birthday. His daughter, Charli is a month younger than Konrad. We don’t see them as often as they live out of town.
The last time we saw both of our sons, Joel and Brian was last Sunday at motorcycle races. It’s fun to watch them race on the same day. My husband also races and he’s usually just happy to finish the race. My husband started racing motocross when our oldest was 6 weeks old so both boys grew up watching their dad race and now of course race them selves.
We’ll be seeing Brian, Kim and Charli this weekend when we get together for Brian’s birthday. I’m looking forward to that, I’ve missed seeing them.
Oh well, I’m rambling again. Just like old times.
