Spring is flowering time for the catalpa trees in our pasture.
We have two of the catalpa trees and the flowers are just beautiful when they are in full bloom.
The flowers resemble orchid flowers.
I think these are my favorite trees in the pasture. It’s a shame they don’t blossom year ’round.
The flowers are already falling off and will be replaced with the seed pods. I really should attempt to start a tree on my own. These two trees were given to us by our friends several years ago and you can see how they’ve grown!
