Final Photos of Hawaii

Since I had to take this group of photos the old fashioned way using a disposable camera, it’s taken me longer to get the photos.

I’m still bummed my digital camera chose that time to die and it’s looking like it’s going to be costly to repair it.  At least I still have my Canon Digital Rebel for the needed great pictures and I still have my smaller Canon digital cameras for the quick times.  Even the Canon Elph I purchased while in Oahu to replace the damaged one will be useful.  I’m not camera-less, I just wish the other hadn’t broken at that time.

On to the last group of photos.  These are of the Honolulu Zoo.  I had them put the photos in digital form on a CD when I had the film developed.  It’s much easier than scanning.

I’m not so happy with the photo quality, but hey, what can one expect with a disposable camera?

The first exibit I came across in the zoo was the flamingo exhibit.  Flamigos look the same at every zoo but they are always pretty to see.

This is a bird that’s only found in Hawaii, sorry, I forget it’s name.  He’s towards the back of the picture though.

The large tortises are my favorites. I don’t know why I’m drawn to turtles but I like them. :)

I know there was a reason I took this picture but now I don’t see the animal that’s in there.  I think it was a large cat who was just at the entrance to the enclosure.

Well that’s about it.  Anyway, these are the last of my Oahu trip photos.

  1. Concidering they’re a disposable camera, they’re actually pretty good! Looks like a nice place to wander around, and it’s always typical that a gadget will break just as you’re wanting it and don’t have access to a replacement.
