Well while the weather isn’t as warm as I’d like it to be, the flowers are beginning to put on a show. Slowly but surely, the flowers are appearing throughout the garden and the patio planters.
My fanfare blanket is a repeat from last year. It made it through the winter and is growing fast, hopefully spreading too. I should pick up more of these for their vibrant yellow and orange colors.
My pink, fuscia and white geranium is looking lovely. It’s kind of being crowded by the vinca that has been taking over the garden.
Even the mosquito schocker is doing well. It’s also a type of geranium.
I’ve had this Calibrachoa Desert Shine growing in a pot on the patio for a few years. It’s an interesting flower, another that I’d like to get more of as it seems to be a spreading type of plant.
I’ve had these before, the African Daisy is always lovely. I especially like the deep orange of this one.
The African Daisy is similar to the Gerbera Daisy that I have out in the garden. I guess they are related as they both are a type of daisy.
Last but not least, my Asian Lilie’s are beginning to sprout! They are part of the over 200 flowering bulbs the kids gave me for my birthday. These are the first to sprout. I’m eager to see the lily flowers they will produce. They are just sprouts with silly green heads of hair right now.
I’m still waiting on my pictures of the Honolulu Zoo. I took them with a disposable camera and I have to wait for them to be developed. I love my digital cameras where I can have the pictures when I want them and print only the ones I want.

It looks like it’s all go in your garden at the moment, so far we’ve got about 2 daffodil bulbs flowering here and that’s about it :-/
