Our boxer, Mo passed away last night. He got up to go outside and as he came close to the door he collapsed. My husband and I sat with him over an hour until he took his last breath.
We knew he’d probably not last much longer, age was the cause. Mo wasn’t sick and thankfully he wasn’t in pain. We think he probably had a stroke or heart attack but that can’t be certain. Natural causes took him from us. Mo was 13 years old. Mo’s official name was Mohammed, named after the boxer Ali.
My husband said he was glad that Mo’s last day was a good one. He had done his usual things and had a good appetite too. Mo had one last ride in the truck with my husband earlier in the day.
He’ll be missed. Mo was Gail’s dog and telling her that he’s passed away is going to be hard. 
Mo loved being with Gail and going to work at the barn.
In his later years his muzzle was quite gray and he’d lost most of his teeth. We’d joke about how he could gum his victim to pieces. Here’s just a couple of other odds and ends shots of Mo.
Rest in peace Mo, you were part of our family and loved very much. Now you can join Maggie and Bart in doggie heaven.
