Well yesterday was a very, very nice day! We started off with breakfast prepared by Brian and Gail. Of course I supplied all the goodies but the kids did the cooking.
Joel and Randi were last to arrive and we wanted to get to the gifts! To pass the time while waiting for Joel and Randi, the others took the dogs out to the lower pasture to exercise the dogs. Gail and Derek would throw a tennis ball for Nebo and Mo.
Brian got out his small dirt bike and rode it around. That actually got old Moe excited and he’d run following Brian.
When Joel and Randi arrived we began opening the presents. Derek and Gail got it started, theirs was too big to wrap. We gave them a set of running boards for their 4 wheel drive diesel truck. Look, I’m actually in this picture! 
Everyone got and gave wonderful presents, too many to mention but the big surprise was when I opened the box Brian told me to save for last. It was a new DVD/CD player. I wondered about that because we already had a DVD/CD player. Brian and Derek went outside and carried in a larger box that held a new 42′ LCD T.V. for us from all the kids!
That’s Derek and Brian setting up the new T.V. Now we can get all the HDTV channels too! Our other T.V. was a 46″ widescreen but it was only HTDV-ready and I think the T.V. was already going out on us, the picture wasn’t as clear as it had been.
Anyway, after a few lessons from Brian about how to operate the T.V. and DVD/CD player, it’s all set up and it really is nice.
Luckily Brian will still be coming home often to help with this. It used to be you just turned a T.V. on, now you need a whole set of instructions on how to use it!
I myself got a lot of nice things, and some cash to spend on anything else I might want.
