It looks like I’m going to have to go out and buy a Christmas tree today. My husband is meeting one of his friends and they are going to drive down to the Bay area where his friend has a sailboat. My husband is going to help his friend install something on the sailboat.
I won’t put the tree up yet, I’ll need my husband to trim the bottom off the tree before I put it in a stand. I’m sure the stores will still have some good trees left. I do want to get one and have it here though, then I can decorate a little at a time.
Speaking of my husband, he just placed his catalog order by phone. I had to go talk to the guy and give him my e-mail address so he could send a shipping confirmation to. These things must weigh a lot, it says shipping is $100! Yikes!
I miss posting the toons, I should do that more often now. Actually this time of morning I’m too cold to think much else so I just write.
The other day when I was at the plant nursery I asked if they had any of those birdseed bells. I can’t find them anywhere and this time of year is when birds need the extra food. I need to get a new bird feeder but until I do, I wanted to hang one of the bells. Luckily they had one left. It’s already been half eaten by the wild birds. I’d better find myself a bird feeder and birdseed soon.
Well I’m off for a tree and a birdfeeder!
