Well I survived my night alone. As expected, I wasn’t really alone. Brian was here all day and night yesterday. Brian spent most of the day up in his office room working on some floor plans.
As it neared dinner time I asked Brian what he wanted to do for dinner. I told him I still had a gift card to Mimi’s Cafe down by the mall. He said he’d like to go there, besides, it was basically a free meal for him.
Dinner was so-so though. We both ordered turkey club sandwiches and they were on the dry side. They didn’t taste bad, there just could have been more flavor to them. Oh well, the night with my son was very nice.
When we got home Brian went up to shower and as soon as I heard the water stop I put a load of clothes in the washer.
As for T.V., I don’t have a clue as to what was on last night. When Brian’s here, he’s as bad or worse as his dad with the remote. I didn’t have a chance to search for other things to watch. Control of T.V. remote controls is a male thing I guess.
When my husband and his friend left in the morning I asked what time they expected to be back. While my husband was thinking of the time I said, “I just want to know what time the party should end.”
Earlier in the day I went shopping and picked up a gift card for my husband to a big golf store. Golfing equipment is quite expensive but I hope the gift card will move him to actually spend some money on himself for golf. He’s still playing with clubs I gave him thirty years ago!
I think my only plans for today are to pay a few bills and to go into town to the nursery. They had some really pretty small live pine trees. One was particularly pretty and I want to find out what type of pine it is. It would look nice growing on the property after Christmas or I can keep repotting it to a larger pot as it grows.
Have a great day!
