Golly, it’s already Monday! That means that by tonight I’ve been home from the trip for a week now.
It was cute when we got home. Moe was so excited to see us. I think he thought we moved. Moe followed us everywhere. It’s not unusual that he follows Mr. Blu around, he loves him. I’m the person with the food so when Moe began to tag along with me up and down the stairs and lay behind me while I checked my e-mail I thought that perhaps Brian hadn’t fed him before he left for Kim’s. I took Moe out and filled his dish and he ate like he was pretty hungry. It turns out that Moe lied! Brian said he fed him around 5:00 which is his usual feeding time.
Even the cats were pretty glad we were home. It’s hard enough to feed the cats when we’re all home, we have to constantly put the cat food up so Moe or Nebo don’t eat it. Of course I filled the cat dishes too. Spunky seemed the most happy that I was home. She wouldn’t leave my side and slept close to me all night long.
So far we’re having a pretty nice fall. It’s getting colder but slowly. It’s still warm and sunny in the daytime. I guess there was a lot of rain while we were gone but it’s been nice since.
The good thing about the mild temperatures is that some of the flowers are still blooming. I’m glad they aren’t giving up yet!
The marigolds seem to hang on the longest.
There’s also a few odds and ends flowers not ready to give up blooming. 
Even my yellow rose plant is still producing a few more flowers. This was right after a brief rainshower so the leaves still have water droplets on them.
