Yesterday I decided to do my grocery shopping at the store I used to shop at years ago. Long ago it was a Lucky’s store. I was a regular shopper back then. When Albertson’s took it over I stopped shopping there. The quality in everything seemed to have gone down the tubes with the company change. Just recently, Save Mart bought out all the Albertson’s in California. Since it’s the first store in the town up the road I’d often go there when I needed something quickly. It seemed as if they were worth a try again so I shopped there yesterday.
Of course I have to go back today to get milk and stamps, the two things I forgot. When you’re in a different store you can’t always find things you need. I’ll go back up to Bel Air, my usual store, and pick up what I missed yesterday. See what happens when you make a little change in the routine? I think next week I’ll just return to my usual store.
Also on Saturday, I set up our trip to Washington D.C.. We’ll be going there October 10th-15th. Short trip, but we should be able to see a lot. My husband kept saying we’d go in October but he never gave me an idea of dates. I finally picked the dates and had him sit with me while I chose the flights, hotel and rental car. I wanted to make the plans before the snow came in the east!
I’m still waiting on the flight ticket information, Expedia says, “Check back in 24 hours”. Well I checked back in 24 hours and the ticket info wasn’t up yet! It will turn out alright even if I have to bug Expedia to give me the information I need. Their own site of my itinery says that the airlines require tickets. Well if they don’t give me the tickets to print out what can I do?
The trip is next week! I’ll also have to pick up some extras while I’m out today. I’m not a big fan of flying, even less so since all the security check points, but it is the easiest way to get from point A to point B.
Well I’m off for those odds and ends things. Have a great day!
